Sunrise at Marina Bay

For almost a year I planned to take this shot. The first attempt ended without been able to spot the location. Finally last month I managed to wake up early enough to catch the sunrise at Marina Bay. I was a bit late in order to catch the blue hour but still got a nice shot.

Yick Fat Building - Living in Hong Kong Photography

Living in Hong Kong

The Yick Fat Building is probably one of the most photographed building in Hong Kong. Especially at night when the lights go on and illuminates the entire building it’s becoming a perfect location for photographers. I found it to be quite difficult to adjust my camera and tripod in order to get the shot I wanted.

Camera settings:
134 sec at f11, ISO 100, no filters

Its quite interesting to see how people are living in Hong Kong. Through the shortage of land and constant immigrants the country became the most expensive place for property. Due to the high prices people have to share their apartment and sometimes even their rooms.
